Dr. Greg Carners

Dean of the College of Business at UNA. He came to UNA in 2007 as the Raburn Eminent Scholar of Accounting and also serves as MBA Program Director. As an academic leader at the national level, Greg has served as President of the Accounting Program Leadership Group, President-Elect of the Federation of Schools of Accountancy, and Secretary of the American Taxation Association. Currently he works as a Chair of the Education Committee of the Alabama Society of CPAs and as President of the North Alabama ASCPA chapter. His Ph.D. degree is from Georgia State University and he began his academic career at Louisiana State University.

Dr. Shirley Chen

Director of EMBA at UNA. Shirley worked for College of Business of UNA in 2010 as an CEO for Asia EMBA program. Before she worked for UNA, she was an entrepreneur and own 2020 Autobody Tech in LA. She graduated from Warwick University and hold a Ph.D degree in Engineering Business Management. Her dual master degree is also in the same field of MSc in EBM with Warwick and Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Shirley received bachelor degree from Mary-Hardin, Baylor University at Texas in Marketing at 1998. Profession in motivation, marketing strategy, Business strategy, and entrepreneurship.

Dr. Kerry Gatlin

Dr. Kerry Gatlin has a Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma, 1982. He has served at UNA as a professor of Marketing and Management since 1980 and served as the Dean of the College of Business from 2001-2013. He received the Awarded Leadership Certificate at the North Alabama HR Management Conference in 2009. He has served as the President for Alabama Association for Higher Education in Business, a member of the Southern Dean’s Association branch of the Southern Business Administration Association, and a member of the International Association for Advancement of Collegiate Schools of Business.
